The Pathway 2 Independence Assessment tool is a holistic assessment package that tracks and targets skills found in the P2I curriculum.
The Curriculum assessment tool (CAT) has a gradation of skills in the following 12 areas:
Community Inclusion, Health, Communication, Independent Living, Functional Employment, Pre-requisites to Employment, Social Skills, STEAM and the following academic areas (Math, Literacy, Computers, Science).*
*This can be developed depending on school/setting need.
Pupils will be assessed against the skills outlined in each of these areas with the level of support that they required to complete the skill.
Each of the outcomes has an operational definition allowing it to be filled out by education professionals, key workers and parents.
The live progress dashboard shows realtime progress for the learner.
